Can my customers connect a root domain, not only www?
Yes, where their DNS provider can hold a root record. CustomDomain™ uses the provider's ALIAS-style record where one exists and A records elsewhere, and offers www when neither works.
Who serves HTTPS on the connected domain?
On Growth and up, the CustomDomain™ edge issues the certificate on the first HTTPS request and renews it. On Starter and Startup, domains point at your own servers and you serve TLS.
Does my customer have to move their nameservers?
No. CustomDomain™ writes or shows records at the customer's current DNS provider. Hosting the customer's DNS is an opt-in setting your application turns on.
